Hi Folks,

I have a '52 Jag XK120. The mechanic says that the rings are smoking and
the compression is low. In addition the clutch plate should be replaced.
He is talking about an engine overhaul and a clutch job. The car is a
driver, not a show car. Approximately how much money should I expect to
pay a shop?
