SU "PD" type fuel pump

Does anyone know if there is a common-in-USA car using the "PD" type fuel  
pump?  I just noticed I'd left mine on the car when I was sandblasting so I  
think I'm going to replace it...   BTW this would be fitted to an MG  Magnette, 
but can't just order parts for a Magnette in US :)
