At idle voltage was around 13.5 V at all these points. Took car out for a
long ride and came back and checked voltage. Turned car off and readings
around
12.5 (cannot remember exact amount). Tried to start car and voltage
measured
around 10.5 volts at all of the points and starter was sluggish. Let car
cool down and all values returned to normal and it started right up. Will
keep
you advised. I guess I will look further into the starter.

 Cheers and thanks

Al,

For what it's worth, I recall years ago a tech piece from the Porsche Club
that I used to belong to where somebody had this same problem. It was
suggested that the grounding strap was often the culprit when hot starter
voltage was a problem. May be worth a look.
