Tim, I hate to brake it to you but its very likely you fried the unit. I 
just installed a HEI (high energy ignition) on my Land Cruiser and the 
manual states a dozen times DO NOT REVERSE RED CONTACT WIRE (AVOID IGNITOR 
DAMAGE)  I hope I'm wrong. Enrique
