 I put the 9 volt radio schlock bulbs in my '69 B, which has the off-on
switch instead of a rheostat.  Things were fine -- nice bright dash
lights -- until the voltage regulator in the alternator burped one night
on I-10 while coming home from  a club meeting in San Antonio.  ZAP!  No
dash lights.  Another experiment bites the dust. ;^)  Got the 12 volt
bulbs in there now.
