Anyone know how the industry measures shocks? I have never seen shocks
referred to by a rating or any other means other than "stiff "or "Heavy
Duty" . The manufactures must have a scale they rate them on otherwise
how would they cross referance them?  

Part II,  If they do rate them,  why would Spax or Armstrong be any
different  given the same rating? ( excluding longevity )
