New Newsletter Editor???

As many of you know, I don't have as much time as I thought I would when 
I took over the newsletter.  A fellow by the name of Curtis Jacobson has 
offered to take over, however I know nothing about him, other than he is 
very eager and seems to want to turn the newsletter and website into a 
money maker (funny, I recall saying that too.....).  He also redesigned 
the web site (did a great job) and as soon as we can get the current web 
master to help with the transition, you should see the fruits of his 
labor.  Anyhow, I wanted to see what people thought about it.  I know 
that a few years back that a guy that was supposed to take over from 
Kurt (before Dan Masters) took off with the mailing list and over 
$1000.00 and disappeared.  I see no reason why that would happen with 
this fellow, but I'd like thoughts on how to do a smooth transition with 
minimal risk to you guys.  Can anybody vouch for this fellow?  Any 
suggestions?
