Yes, suggestions tended to favor buying one in England and shipping it
here as the stateside supply was so small.  I think that's more than I
want to take on.  I've bought cars (a TR8 and a '62 Skylark convertible)
back east and shipped them to CA, and that was costly and difficult.  I
do seem to have a thing for the 215 V8s having owned several of the
Buick versions as well as two TR8s.  Of the cars I've owned with a 215,
I preferred the '63 red Skylark convertible with factory 4-speed.  I am
sorry I sold that car.

Hello,
I just sold my TR8 and am thinking of getting another car.  Maybe a
pristine CRX Si, or old Civic Si hatchback.  Also on my list of
possibilities is an MGB GT V8.  How many factory V8s are here, and do
they ever change hands, and when they do, what kind of money do they
sell for?  Anyone out there have this info?  Thanks!
