Hello Gene,
Well, on the TC it's a forward support for the half-tonneau which loops over
the bar between the seat back and the bar. The elastic straps clip lower down
the seat back, if memory serves!

Good Day Listers . on the TD's seat back, there is a bar that runs the width
of the back. It is attached to the back by 4 screws - 2 on each side of the
bar.

It does seem to have any specific purpose as the tilt of the back is
adjusted by another assembly located immediately below the bar.

This is kind of a trivial question, but does anyone know it purpose?

Tks

Cheers

Gene
