Gene, ths commonly called "the blanket bar". It supported the factory
supplied tonneau cover which did not cover the seats.........

Good Day Listers . on the TD's seat back, there is a bar that runs the
width
of the back. It is attached to the back by 4 screws - 2 on each side of
the
bar.

It does seem to have any specific purpose as the tilt of the back is
adjusted by another assembly located immediately below the bar.

This is kind of a trivial question, but does anyone know it purpose?

Tks

Cheers

Gene
