To supplement the excellent information provided by Roadrunner, you might
contact the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust. For about $40, they
will
send a certificate for your car, providing the dates that the car was built
and dispatched. They also supply details regarding original equipment and
colors for the exterior and trim as well as other pertinant information. I
seem to have misplaced their address, but perhaps someone on the list can
help.
