Right on. I have a list of North American "Distributors and Dealers for the
products of THE BRITISH MOTOR CORPORATION LTD'. Most distributors are also
dealers. The booklet, 32 pages, covers Canada and USA. There is no date but
I assume its mid to late fifties as it references MG A ( note the space ),
Austin-Healey, MG Magnette, Morris Minor, Austin, Riley.
Now I wonder if I slip into Dawson Motor Co., Walla Walla Ave & Wellington,
Walla Walla Washington, if I can get service for my PA or TC??

The distributors did exactly as the name implies. The acted as the
distribution agents for the factory. They supplied cars to the dealers.
Sometimes, in fact in most cases, the distributors were also dealers selling
to the general public. University Motors is a case in point. They not only
sold to the public, but they also supplied cars to other dealers.
