Geoff,

I have to agree with Terry, (that's twice in the last month and not a good
habit) but my method is slightly different, you don't need the jack but you
do need a helper. You start by tightening the shocks and then push the back
of the car down and make sure it stays down. Now sit in the driver's seat
and have your helper slowly loosen the centre bolt one flat at a time. Pause
for a few seconds after each loosening but make sure your helper is watching
the shock. When the shock starts to move stop loosening the bolt (actually
its nut) and tighten it two flats. Do the other three corners the same way,
except push the front of the car down for the front shocks.

If you always drive with a passenger put them in the appropriate seat while
you're setting the shocks. As you have new discs, check everything again in
about 500 miles.

Cheers, "Bob".
