Guys,
Someone out there must have actual samples of these needle rollers!
Three guys have posted dimensions but all are very different. Andrew says
2mm X 17 (.078"X.669") Dennis says .172" X .750" while Jack advises .094" X
1" Is it possible that a steel or bronze bush is also used in conjunction
with the rollers?? I just spoke to Dennis and he came up with an
alternative of using a 5/8 X 3/4 OD bush and .062" needle rollers. Also how
many needles are required?
Cheers,
Chris Nowlan

All,
I purchased dowel pins 1" X 0.0940" for this purpose. Berg Precision
Mechanical Components Part # D24-8, hardness: RC 36-42, $0.60 ea. in May
1996. W.M. Berg, inc.499 Ocean Ave. East Rockway NY 11518 Customer
service Tele. 516 599 5010.
For what it is worth; I'm pretty sure I also used these for the brake
pedal bearing.
Cheers,
Jack Hardy
