Nice one Lew,

Thanks for sharing Bob Clare's input. Actually, Terry Andrews did have it 
correct in his article of 1982. He did quote the donor chassis, correctly, as 
PA 2068.
I guess dyslexia is more common than what we thought.

I have it on good authority that the "chore' of numbering the chassis was so 
"looked down on" at Abingdon that they decided to rotate personnel to this 
duty each day.

Wednesday's was allocated to Norman Hardcastle. "A nice lad." When management
discovered that Norman suffered from this disability, in July of '37, they 
transferred him to the accounting department. The rest is history, you might 
say.

However, I own PA 0512. This is, I found from extensive research, actually 
the first PA chassis, which, as you can imagine was stamped on a Wednesday.
Hence, the British ritual of half day closing on Wednesdays.
