I am also a new member of this ML. I am restoring a J2 now (J2771).
Regarding the original colour scheme, you can refer ;
1) period catalogue or
2) reprint catalogue available by MMM register regalia, or
3) you can see the last page of Moss MMM parts catalogue (ex-Barry Walker's), or
4) the book called "4 cylinder OHC MGs" (published by Magna Press)

hi MMM friends,
I'm a new member of the list, I'm planning to restore my J2 (2224). In all
the books I've about the J2 I find tracking of the various colors, but I had
no a proper list of the colors produced for the period regarding my J2.
who can help?
