Bob;
GM had an aluminum- block 215 CID V8 back in about '63. It was used by
Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac. Buick used their own cylinder head
design, as did Olds, but I don't know what Pontiac used for their heads;
Pontiac 215 V8s are not very common. The engine design was sold to Rover
in the UK.

Pont 326 w/2Bbl or 4Bbl , or the Pont 400. I liked the OHC 6, thought
it'd be
good for altered classes due to the engine setback rule advantage for
inline
engines and the breathing potential for the OHC... I acquired a '40
Austin and
then got drafted in '65..sigh....Couldn't find a home for the Austin and
it
got junked while I was out of the country....Way back when...
