OK, My eyes don't work as good as they did when I was young. ( Heck,
nothing works as good as it did when I was young.) So I have been having
trouble sharpening my small drill bits. The 1/8 and smaller mostly. So I
bought a drill doctor. Got the video with it in the box. Watched the
video and sharpened some small bits. Don't cut worth a darn. Watched the
video again, played with the thing a little and it still don't sharpen a
bit worth a darn. It does not cut enough clearance behind the cutting
lip. If I take it out of the drill doctor and hand grind the clearance
it drills just fine. So thats what I have been doing. I don't mind
hand grinding the clearance so much, it just seems like the thing should
work better than it does. Anyone else have this problem with a drilldoctor?
