It's fortunate that the very same thing that happened in 1955 ("...If had
not been for a mistake (the driver tried to pass a slower car at the peel
off point into the pit lane and overshot...") did not happen again.
Fortunately, the track is much wider there now than it was then. I saw that
accident happen on German TV back then-- terrible.
