Hi All,
    Some random thoughts regarding tire softining compounds.
1. Goodyear says " don't use them, I f you do don't tell us", they claim the
process is detrimental to carcass integrity.
2. The instructions tell you to keep it off the sidewalls, it will hurt
them.
3. You have marginal control on how deep the stuff penetrates.
4. LSR tire tread rubber is very thin (most less than 1/8 in).
5. YOU DON"T WANT THE TREAD TO SEPARATE. (it is very exciting and
destructive at 240 mph).
