Skip, list,
Hugh Coltharp, who is the USFRA Treasurer, built five identical English
wheels a few years ago. The finished product is very professional looking
and works extremely well. I have watched him form body parts with very
impressive results. The important thing he did was get the various rollers
machined at a shop that used computer controlled lathes to get the exact
shapes he wanted. A friend at the brokerage where he worked was a math whiz
and set up the curvatures for the machinist to work from. Might be worth
talking to him to get particulars about the receivers and adjustments for
the lower rollers.
