im not a "vintage guy", but i'd sure want both front and rear brakes (good
ones) and at least one reliable chute in case your car ever caught fire at
high speed -a few seconds less in a hot oil fire (or any fire) may keep you
from getting seriously burned. for me, the right equipment would far
outweigh the not so unlikely chance of being thoroughly burned.
