I have an idea that might help regarding the 3=E2=80=9D metal disc.  The =
Jaguar MK VII has a similar disc(s) under the rear seat. I can=E2=80=99t =
say if it is actually 3=E2=80=9D but I do recall seeing it (around 30 =
years ago) and thinking it was just like the ones in the 2 seater 3000s.=20=
