I see no reason why you should have to disconnect the driveshaft. The =
transmission is full of oil and any rotating part in the transmission as =
it is being towed will splash oil up into the bearings and gears. =
Everything will stay lubricated. And that is all that matters. I believe =
it is automatic transmissions that cannot be flat towed with the =
driveshaft connected.=20
