Obvious/dumb/insulting question: IIRC the rubbers are 'handed;' are they 
both wrong the same way?

To tell you the truth, your 60YO rubbers look pretty good. I'd be 
tempted to reuse them; the contemporary aftermarket ones aren't quality, 
obviously. I've seen them start to delaminate and/or sag almost 
immediately. Because they sag, I think it's best to adjust the gap when 
they're installed with the engine. I got a bunch of fender washers and 
cut slots in them so they could slide past the stud.
