Thanks Alan

There is a ball valve at the very top that opens as soon as you look at =
it and lets the water out on to the road via a copper pipe.

=20

Interestingly the radiator in the BN3 is the same as the Healey Duncan, =
but it=E2=80=99s pressurised.

I think on these old radiators there should be a small expansion tank in =
the very top of the radiator tank. You might try soldering a connection =
on top as the bleed off.

Hello Alan

That raises a question that you might be able to help with.

=20

My Healey Duncan has a 0 PSI cap or in other words it=E2=80=99s not =
meant to be pressurised. However when it gets warmed up and the =
coolant/water expands there is nowhere for it to go except out the =
overflow. On a longer run this repeats itself again and again until it =
overheats.

=20

Don=E2=80=99t want to pressurise the system, but am thinking about an =
overflow tank.

Thank you
