Most hot rodders today install what is called a "one-wire=0Aalternator".=

that if the internal bits can do=0Athe job, the old wire is 1 not an as=
set to the system and 2 could=0Acause some unexpected issues. Removing i=
t should be a good move.=0A=0A As you can tell, my knowledge of alternat=
ors is very limited. I hope=0Athat someone out there can reassure me tha=
t it=E2=80=99s okay to remove the=0Awire or guidance on what to do next.=
