Paul, I had the same problem with the tank fitting being too far back for a
fitup. I ordered a 1/4" Male BSPP X 1/4" Female BSPP Swivel from Hydraulics
Direct to make up the gap. For the sideways misallignmet you may be able to
move the fuel line or the tank some to get the two to line up.
