Michael,You are correct. Unfortunately, most customers never even report th=
e problem, so the manufacturer & vendor do not know the part does not fit. =
If thy do get a few complaints, they dismiss it because the majority of the=
sales of that item appear to have had no issues.Gary Hodson=C2=A0

Paul what are encountering is, sadly,=C2=A0 frequently encountered with rep=
roduction parts. You can be assured that the manufacturer has no access to =
a car in which to check the product nor, in all probability does the vendor=
.=C2=A0You can also be assured that they both are well aware of the problem=
but probably have considerable inventory of this defective product and wil=
l continue to push it out to unsuspecting customers until they are all sold=
.
IMHO what you should do is contact the vendor and demand a full refund incl=
uding the cost of shipping it back.=C2=A0Unfortunately too many people just=
figure out a work around and the suppliers continue to get away=C2=A0with =

Hi all
I hope someone can help me with a problem I have with fitting a new fuel ta=

On attempting installation, I have found that the fuel pipe on the car does=

I had assumed the replacement tank would be an exact match for the original=

I could set the tank off-centre, but I would still be about 2cm too short.
I have attached some pics to show what I mean.=C2=A0=C2=A0
AH Spares tells me to buy a new fuel pipe kit from them, but also tells tha=
t the pipe is of a fixed length and the bend I need to get it on to reach t=
he tank boss (as it is at the moment) is a little extreme and will probably=
 kink it.
As always, any advice would be gratefully received.

Many thanks
