For a moment, I thought it might have been mine! When I was discharged fro=
m the Army in 1970, my brother sold me his Austin-Healey. Maroon over whit=
e with a white interior and white walls. Very period of course. It was a v=
ery beautiful car, not stock, but also very cool for the day. Anyway, his =
wife had had an accident in it and crunched the front end. My brother cut =
off the body in the front and made a fiberglass Ferrari GT 250 front end f=
or the car. It was just primered, but it still looked cool and I was going=
to finish it after I bought it. I drove it from Dallas to Los Angeles in =
a day, slept in L.A. and then went to San Francisco the next day.=0A=C2=A0=
=C2=A0=C2=A0I never got around to finishing it, I drove the wheels off of =
it and it died. I left it at a friends house, actually his grandmothers an=
d never got it back. Very long story on that aspect. But when I saw the he=
adline here, I had to look. Wasn't mine and I'm sure I will never see that=
car again. Young and stupid, but the Austin Healey bug bit and I was neve=
r cured.=0ASteven Kingsbury=C2=A0=0A=0AOn April 13, 2020 at 10:07 PM, "Bru=
