Autozone has a pump, P/N E8016S, that I installed in series with my SU. I
can hardly hear it running at all. As far as I know, it only comes in the
negative ground variety.

I have a Sprite in the shop right now with a Purolator "Proformance #12S"
pump fitted. I believe it's the same as the facet pump?? Anyway, though it
works very well, it bangs away with a steady and annoying beat, audible over
the engine at idle.

Just an observation....
