Joe,

The BJ8 rocker arm is a nominal 1.5, but have read and heard that they
are usually closer to 1.45 (with a bit of variation).

Here are some alternatives:

http://www.rockerarms.com/ (Rocker Arm Specialist)

http://www.bighealey.co.uk/ (Denis Welch Motorsport)

The only alternative springs I know of are single-spring setups from
Denis Welch. The usual suspects generally carry the dual-spring
type; whether they are NOS are aftermarket is anybody's guess.

Rocker Arm Specialist rebuilds rocker arms as well, and I have
personally had good experience with them.
