I buy the Wix 51515R filters by the 6 pack case online. My last order, Oct
2024, has all the filters manufactured in the US (you need to look at the
actual filter, not the box). One thing I have noticed over the past two
years or so is the filter housing seems thinner, it's easy to deform it
with a strap type wrench taking them off. Other than that, I haven't had
any problems with them. I never had a Fram Orange Can of Death fail either
but a YouTube video with side by side comparisons of the internals
convinced me to switch to Wix.
my 2 cents
