I=E2=80=99m using stock shoes in the back of my TR4; seems to work OK! =C2=
=A0:-) and yes, I=E2=80=99m typically braking pretty late and hard.
I=E2=80=99m curious if anyone gets any real temperature on the rear brakes?=
 =C2=A0Mine seem just a little warm coming off track=E2=80=A6. =C2=A0But ma=
ybe others have cooked stock compound=C2=A0shoes?

I loved the Carbotech pads when I was using them on my GT6 for track days.=
=C2=A0 I never had the odd wear problems that have been described.=C2=A0 I =
always used the Hawk Blues on my Spitfire racer and liked those as well, th=
ough they didn't have to deal with the same heat as was generated by my GT6=
 brakes at Blackhawk.=C2=A0 The Hawk Blues I use on my Spec Racer Ford also=
 work really well and stand up to enough heat to turn the rotors blue.=C2=
=A0 If you're unhappy with the Carbotech pads, the Hawk Blues are a good op=
tion, in my opinion.
