Does anyone have any experience with rebuilding the early starters, as used=
on TR-2's and TR-3's, up to about chassis number 50,000 (the "long" starte=
rs)?=C2=A0 i took my starter to a local electrical shop a couple of months =
ago and he is stuck.=C2=A0 He can't figure out how to remove the pinion (wi=
th gear) from the shaft.=C2=A0 Is there a secret to getting the pinion off?
Or, does anyone know of any place that rebuilds these early starters, who m=
ay be able to help me with this question?=C2=A0 Or, I could send the starte=
r to them.
