WOW! Is there any chance you can get back with your engine builder
and maybe find a solution or if the temp is really that high. What
did the temp go up to on the dyno? I was really hoping you could make
it, I don't think Mark York is going either.
I had a low oil pressure when I came off the track yesterday and
when all the races were canceled today, I went home and pulled my oil
pan and checked things. Bearings look good, I suspect the oil pump, I
saw a flaw in the casing which might have allowed it to 'leak'. New
bearings and a oil pump and I'll be ready.
Anybody have any suggestions on tweaking a TR6 oil pump?

running high
oil temp. Ran 3 sessions with oil temp 220, 230 and 240. Water
never got above
180. Cut the filter open after the first seesion and it was
totally clean.
Pitted with Jeff Quick, Mark York and Charly Mitchel (TR4a,
TR6, TR3) at the
Sovren Spring Sprints. Mark is having some challenges as
well.
I am afraid I can't make the tow from Vancouver Washington knowing
I have this
problem with no time on track before then. I am really
disapointed that I won't
make my first this year. I had been running laps in
my head around Laguna Seca
for months now.
