L-16 engine (or at lease valve cover) and 200sx transmission. The block should
be stamped with L-16. Could be L-18 or L-20b.

Can someone in the group help me identify a motor? The valve cover states
"DATSUN 1600 OHC". If you contact me off list I'll forward a picture of the
engine. It has a 5-speed attached and the shift pattern starts with first
gear in the lower left hand corner.
