I'm thinking that this stuff is a rust maker just like the padding between
frame and body.  You know, any kind of fabric stuff will hold moisture
when it gets wet.  I was considering some thin hard rubber, something like
that.

Ya know, I've still got my old duffel bag from the NAV!
