The condensed version is that another roadster owner with similar issues
resolved 'em w/ a new voltage regulator (still available from Nissan),
however, I'd double-check the wiring, especially the grounds. Good

Both gas and engine temperature guage acting up. Thought engine was
overheating but actually not. When I fill the gas tank, the engine
temperature guage goes to its highest position and the gas guage stays low.
My electrical diagram shows a voltage regulator that protects both these
guages from surges.
What is happening in my case?
