Yep plain ole simple bicycle speedo.  The Sigma BC800 is I think what I
have.  Sometimes you need to check the specs and make sure the speedo does
not have a too low max speed.  Just get the wired kind, they work well and
are cheaper than the wireless units.  One problem is that the wires are not
super long.  I have mine in the ashtray.  You can probably extend the wires
though.
