Ah, the famous "headlights dim at high speed" problem. Check your hi/lo
relay. It chatters from the vibration. Either rubber mount it or tweek it
inside
so the spring is a little stronger.

As a background, I'm not exactly positive it's over 5000 rpm. My speedo runs
about 20% over. Don't think my Tach does the same, but don't have the tools
to figure that out right now.
