Looking at the registry link you mentioned, it is the same car as the
ad. Same engine# mentioned at both.
I checked up on the auction until the end, still tempted to bid but
didn't. At $455, it is a great deal for the buyer. Wouldn't take much to
get it running, just slap on a cylinder head and a few engine bay
components. And the body is in pretty good shape, slap on a paint job
and it's pretty. Hopefully it won't get parted out, but if so, it would
make a lot of money for the buyer by selling the parts on eBay.

Lot of work ahead, but someone got a deal for $455.
Also interesting is that same VIN looks like it's for a different '66 in
Vallejo...

I'm kinda kicking myself right now, because I'm not bidding on a 1966
roadster on eBay, ends after midnight. It's in San Francisco.

Not running. But I have all the parts to get it running (spare engines
and accessories). But I have too many roadsters (3-1/2) and lots of home
projects to work on. If you or another BADROC'r gets the car (currently
at $350), I got the parts you need! Tell me I'm okay, that I don't need
4 roadsters!
