Interesting.  
Great find, you've got a nice car there.  

I believe your leaf springs are mounted incorrectly in the rear.  It appears
in your picturs that the spring is mounted below the "scroll" bracket.  On
my car the spring resides above with the scroll eyelet located below.  See

The leaf springs come off maybe 2/3 of the way down the page.
