I think clorox is pretty harsh on paint as it's an oxidizer.  I hope you
went back over the area with paint cleaner and wax after that?  Of course,
in your case, I'm sure the pros outweighed any cons.

I did an experiment on my white Miata and tried to remove mold from inside
the
filler tube area. I used a light dilution of Clorox and 'painted' the clorox
on the mold and with light scrubing using a toothbrush and paintbrush
removed
all the mold, something wax couldn't do.

I washed the car down thoroughly after that but I don't think clorox effects
car paint although it may have salts in it.
