On the 'later' (66+) cars one is metric and the other is SAE. The brake
fitting screws in to the 510 cylinder but is just a little bit looser than
it should be. If the 310s are the same as the 311s (can anyone confirm
or deny?), then unless the fitting is changed to match the 510 cylinder
there is a theoretical risk of the line popping out during a full-out
panic stop...

Has anyone examined Z parts? A parts house sold me a Z hose
for my 510 and it didn't work - metric vs SAE conflict. That implies
that an early Z and the Roadster are the same thread???
