Hey guys,
My U20 has experienced catastrophic failure. So, I'm wondering if any
of you recent rebuilders can give me a ballpark on the following
components I assume as minimum necessary.
All the timing goodies (the chain is not currently continuous, so gears,
chain,etc.). Lower front case (since I can see the chain where it used
to be). Valves and associated head work (definate piston contact in 1
and 3 - valves stuck open). Pistons.
Somehow I imagine this will be along term rebuild on an engine stand in
my living room. So, I'd also like help pointing to alternative motor
placements.
