You may remember my bio--My wife got me into sports cars, its all her
fault--We had one of the first 240Zs around.
Lightning has struck again. Last night she forced me (at gun point) to sign
the papers for a 350Z. We pick it up tomorrow.
Same deal as 1970. We had been looking at new cars for months. (1970--240Z
and 914/6. 2002--350Z, Infinity G35 Coupe, 330CI, and TT Coupe.) We had
not been able to find a Z to drive. Found one that was available. The
dealer let us drive it. Made a good deal. Bought it.
Its not the model I wanted (enthusiast), its a touring 6 speed. Got a lot
of crap I don't need (VDC--but I can turn it off and super duper sound
system {after too many years of rock-n-roll, I can't hear shit} leather
seats). But it is the color I wanted, LeMans Sunset.
On the way home last night Flashy said "Now you need a radar detector for
Christmas." Great minds think alike. I hope I can wait till Christmas.
