Actually, He has already painted the windshield frame. He is just worried
the installer will scratch things up. Larry.

Better to have the windshield out for painting like it was done originally.
The paint should go under the weatherstrip. I have seen too many that
didn't look right when weatherstrip was masked. The more stuff that is
over the paint that is removed the better and gives the painter a better
chance for a good job. Locks, handles, emblems, moldings, gas filler neck,
lights and on and on.
