I know, I know. Trust me, I spent all day in the archives reading about
Alternator Conversions and referring to the schematics. Yes, Ibve also been
to the 311s site as well. This is a 2 Wire hook-up.

Just want to check a few things with you. Please tell me if I miss or hose it
up.

Things to do with a two wire hook-up on a 66 1600 (63 Amp Delco):

1. Ground the Alternator

2. Connect wire from Alternator plug (number 2 wire (fat red)) to Alternator
(BAT +)

3. Install 30 Amp fuse between Alternator (BAT +) and harness wire that was on
BAT + (which is white on schematic that goes to fuse box (30 amp) and
ammeter)

4. Install 30 Amp fuse between the starter solenoid and wiring harness (Black
wire & Green-White wire on schematic. Black wire one goes to other side of
ammeter and Green-White goes to fuse box (20 amp)).

5. Connect wire from Alternator plug (number 1 wire (skinny white)) to the
power wire to the radio. Now, I need to know the physical location of this
connection because electrically on the schematic it doesnbt make sense to me
when I see where else it goes.

Thanks!
