On the race car, I have a completely stock brake setup, except for pads and
shoes. The shoes have been relined with KFP's Carbon-Kevlar material, and I
use their Blue compound Carbon-Kevlar shoes up front. Braking performance
is awesome. The only tradeoff is the amount of dust they create, and they
wear out a lot quicker than stock. Pads and shoes are very rotor/drum
friendly too. I've never experienced any fade.
